Yes — and it's completely free. Every new dog comes for a short, relaxed assessment day so we can meet them, understand their temperament, and find the perfect play group. It's the best way to make sure daycare is a joy for them from day one.

All dogs must be up to date with their core vaccinations (DHP and leptospirosis), plus kennel cough at least two weeks before their first visit. We'll ask to see your vet records during the assessment. Neutering isn't required, but unneutered dogs are grouped sensibly.

We keep a maximum ratio of one team member to every six dogs, and groups are matched by size, age and energy. That means calm seniors aren't bowled over by bouncy youngsters, and everyone gets the kind of day that suits them.

We do — across Colchester and the surrounding villages, in temperature-controlled, individually-secured vans. It's from £8 each way and saves you the morning dash. Just let us know your postcode when you book.

Dogs love a good puddle! We carry on come rain or shine, with a large covered barn and warm indoor space for drying off, naps and shelter. Your dog always comes home clean and dry — a quick towel-down is part of the routine.
